(1) If it comes to know about the fact that more court fees have been charged from a party in the course of the proceedings of the case, the court shall return the excess court fees to the concerned party within three months from the date of the application or the date of the knowledge.
(2) If, after the case has been decided, it becomes known that the court fee has been paid in excess, the concerned party may apply to the court concerned to get the court fee back.
(3) Upon examination of the application received in accordance with sub-section (2), if the petitioner's demand is found reasonable, the court shall refund the petitioner within three months from the date of submission of such court fee application.
